Autumn on the Somerset Levels - 5th Nov 2016
The Somerset Levels are the photographic home of Stephen Spraggon, a local photographer who has spent many an hour exploring the well known landmarks and hidden gems of the county.
Landscape photography workshops are useful for photographers of all abilities. It doesn’t matter whether you are getting to grips with your camera’s settings or if you have several years’ experience taking photos, Stephen will help you progress your photography.
On the Somerset Levels, Autumn tends to peak in early November so this workshop is timed to make the most of the colourful foliage. Stephen will accompany you to locations that are known to have incredible Autumn displays such as Stockhill Woods, Compton Dundon and Deerleap.
Meet at Stockhill Woods at 10:30 am
Location 1: Stockhill Woods 2: Waldegrave Pond 3: Deerleap for sunset
Tuition and guidance, transport between locations on the day, notes covering topics explained during the day.
What to bring
Camera, tripod (highly recommended), accessories (spare battery, etc), selection of lenses, filters (ND grads/polariser most useful), walking boots, mobile phone, food/drink/snacks.
“Stephen helped us explore our ideas by encouragement and suggestion, which for me was exactly what I wanted from the day. I left with new ideas and a new found confidence to try different forms of composition and techniques to develop my own style.”
