Jubilee Afternoon Tea Party
Old Oaks Jubilee Tea Party ~ Fri 3rd June
On Fri 3rd June, we'll be holding an afternoon tea party for Old Oaks guests, staying with us for the bank holiday weekend, with food, drinks, music and other fundraising activities (see more at the bottom on this).
From 2pm, we'll have a little get together for all those wishing to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, or even if this is not up your street, it's a lovely opportunity for guests to meet up, chat and have a little tea party (weather permitting as always!).
On offer and to pre-order are 2 options:
Traditional afternoon tea ~ £5.95
2 freshly baked scones, Somerset clotted cream and delicious strawberry jam
Deluxe Jubilee afternoon tea for 2 ~ £32.95
Selection of Home Cooked Ham & Tomato Chutney & Cheese and Red Onion Marmalade Sandwiches on Granary and White Bread
Freshly Made Sweet Scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream
Victoria Sponge
Brownie Bites
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Macarons
Freshly Made Sausage Rolls
Pork Pies
Cheese Scones, Cream Cheese & Chutney
Tea, prosecco, beer and cider available separately.
Bring your own tables & chairs and if you fancy, silly hats, down to the reception area from 1.45pm to join us (or if you prefer to take your food back to your van, that's fine too). Those wanting tea, bring your own cup, if you're not keen on takeaway cups (compostable).
We'll also be selling raffle tickets for some great prizes, including £100 Old Oaks voucher* There's also a chance to win a great hamper of dog treats and toys in our guess the name of the dog competition, plus win one of Jo's amazing cakes in the guess the weight of the cake contest. We're also giving away a £50 voucher for the best Jubilee dressed caravan, so get your best bunting at the ready.
All profits from the competitions, raffle and tombola are going to our chosen charity, Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
*For those not staying with us on Jubilee weekend, but would still like to enter the raffle, you can do this by donating on our JustGiving page. You'll be entered (by us) as many times as corresponds to your donation: £1 = 1 entry. Please make sure you don't enter anonymously though, or we won't know what name to put on the tickets!
